SPRING IN CLARKSTON

Hello from the Hendricks! So much has happened since our last post! I suppose we can begin with Valentines Day :) Each day starting February 1st we posted one reason why we loved Caleb on his door. Here are my two favorite Valentines in front of Caleb's door on Valentines Day morning!

Ben's parents came down South for a little warm weather and some grandbaby time in early March. We rented a cabin in North Georgia and spent time exploring Amicalola Falls and Dahlonega. It was such a sweet time of family, relaxation, games, and the beautiful outdoors. I seriously have the best in-laws!

After our mini-vacation, Ben ran a Spartan race with some friends from church. His parents were able to watch and got some fun photos.

Ben's parents were also able to meet some of our international friends, including Harris from Croatia. Harris has wanted to take pictures with us for awhile, so we finally got some! Harris visits often, and he and Caleb have a special bond :) He calls him "My honey"-- so cute!

Andrea is home for Spring Break this week! And my cousin Kimberly is visiting with my family. So we went down to Fayetteville to see everyone during Andrew's baseball tournament (his team won, by the way!). Andrea wanted to feed Caleb cotton candy, but I convinced her to hold off on that for awhile. She and Rachel are such fun aunts! Maybe a little too fun ;)

Andrea and Kimberly also came up to CFA to have lunch with Ben at work. Of course we took pictures because Caleb looked so dang cute in his overalls :)

Today my sisters came up for the day. Ben watched Caleb and we spent the afternoon at Atlantic Station and then headed out to dinner. Such a sweet sister time!

Many of you may remember a little about Vivane from earlier posts. Well, we received wonderful news earlier this week. When Viviane came over with her mail (we often go through her mail together due to her low level of English proficiency) there was an envelope from Immigration Headquarters. Viviane's husband who is still stuck in Cameroon has finally been granted asylum in the Unites States!! This means he will be able to join Viviane here in Clarkston and finally meet his daughter :) Praise Jesus! His arrival will also be a tremendous help to the family financially when he is able to get a job.

As always, we will leave you with a few pictures of sweet little Caleb-- who is not so little anymore! He now has FOUR teeth, claps his hands, loves his fruits and veggies, and is VERY mobile.
