Caleb and I recently returned from a surprise trip to Minnesota. With Lauren's help, we surprised Grandma Mary and Grandpa Jon and they had Caleb all to themselves for almost five days! I think Caleb got a little spoiled by all the constant snuggling and attention :) In fact, so did I-- it was so nice having help with Caleb and not having to cook or do household chores for five days! And I'm pretty sure I gained a few pounds from all the yummy meals and desserts...
Unfortunately, I have no pictures or videos to prove it--Caleb is apparently camera shy!--but he rolled over SIX times while we were there! Aunt Lauren taught Caleb many other new tricks as well. Like how to play Euchre (a necessary skill in the Hendricks household)...

Caleb also met his great grandma Hendricks! And Luke & Tamiyo (Ben's uncle and aunt) and Mae & Kai (their adorable children).

Grandma Mary pulled out Ben's old baby blanket for Caleb. Not as good as having Ben with us, but it was a sweet reminder :) When we finally got home Caleb was ecstatic to see his daddy; it took awhile to calm down his giggles so Caleb would go to bed.
As the wise onesie says: "Everything's better at Grandma's" Yes, yes indeed!
