Caleb started off the week with a round of shots in his thighs-- poor boy! He handled them well, although he was sleepy and clingy for the next two days.
At the pediatrician we learned that Caleb weighed 14.4 pounds (14 lbs, 7 ounces) which puts him in the 82nd percentile. And he was 24.5 inches tall which puts him in the 89.99 percentile. We've got a big, tall boy on our hands!
Caleb and I spent Thursday evening with two of my best friends from high school, Jacque and Emilie. Such wonderful, lifetime friends!
Unfortunately, he got hungry and fussy before we could get a group shot...
Caleb's new favorite toy is this teether rattle. It usually takes him awhile to get a good grasp and figure out how to get it in his mouth-- it often goes like this...
"Yes, right where I want it! Finally :)"
He is growing and learning so quickly. He loves discovering how to use his hands and playtime is full of giggles, singing, and movement. Before we know it, he'll be playing with all the other kids in the complex! But for now he will have to be content just saying "hello" to all his new friends on our evening walks :)
